We personally show prospective tenants through properties and do not give out keys to prospective tenants.
We are on line with VEDA and T.I.N.Z. where we credit check prospective tenants for any bad debts or Tenancy Tribunal orders, we check back on references to ensure that the tenant has not left previous tenancies owing rental money or having caused damages that have not been paid for. We also have access to systems including T.I.N.Z. (Tenancy Information New Zealand) where we are advised when tenants’ circumstances have changed.
We are on line with the bank, and daily checking of rents ensures that payment of rent is dealt with instantly.
We collect 4 weeks bond and one weeks rent from the tenant before they are able to take possession of a property. This bond is paid to the bond centre in Wellington where it is kept until the end of the tenancy.
We pay our owners on a weekly basis, to our knowledge we are the only property management company in Christchurch which provides this service, and statements are issued monthly.
